After 3 days of being in Bethel, attending who knows how many sessions, and sleeping in a dorm with people ten years younger than myself ( first year teachers straight out of college) I was rewarded with a Spiced Chai Latte for only 5.50. I should have cared that I had to pay a taxi 5 bucks to take me 1/4 mile down the road to get there- but I didn't . And I should've cared that I was 10 minutes late to the first session--but...I didn't.
What I did care about was that I had a warm, wonderfully warm drink in my hands to get me through another 7 hours of before our flight home and it was so worth it!
