Time to take it outside.

Today was like a couple pages torn from a fairytale.
Good Beginning. A rough middle that brought me immediately back to my days as teacher in good ole Lancaster, California (right down the street from a maximum security prison).

And a relatively good ending. Everyone is safe and sound and an apology was made.

And for those that kept their cool and their seats in my class- time outside.

So we grabbed Miss. Orsburn's velcro mitts and headed out into the wide open spaces...only to see a little more white on the ground.

My first thought was to head back in simply b/c I had visions of broken wrists & ankles. But these kids wouldn't have it. The added slipping factor made the game more interesting. And interesting it was. Cold, too.
